Understanding Costs and Your Funding Options

Funding Options

  • Different Ways to Pay

There are a variety of ways to fund your care and support services. Whether you’re accessing government programs, utilising private funding, or using a combination of both, we’re here to help guide you through the process.

Funding for in-home care and support

We’re here to assist you in accessing government-funded care and guide you through the process step-by-step. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help.

Government funding

The Government funds care and support through a number of programmes including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), My Aged Care, Transition Care and Post Acute Care programmes through hospitals.

The Transport Accident Commission funds supports for injuries incurred in a transport accident.

Private funding

You can also choose to pay privately for your in-home care needs. Or you can pay privately for some additional support on top of your government funding.

When you pay for your in home care privately, we charge an hourly rate for most of our services. We customise our care to your individual situation, so you only pay for as much or as little care as you want, and you’re never locked into a contract.

What our participants say about us

“Anna’s support has truly been life-changing for me. As someone with hearing impairment and heavily reliant on lipreading, the widespread use of masks in the community has been incredibly challenging. Anna has become my eyes and ears, helping me navigate complex conversations with government organisations over the phone and standing by my side in person as a trusted advocate.

What sets Anna apart is her professionalism combined with genuine compassion. She is patient, kind, and approaches my challenges with a holistic mindset, which has greatly eased my stress and anxiety—especially during the extended isolation periods brought on by COVID restrictions.

Anna is not just a support worker; she is a true asset to AICS and a blessing in my life.”

Your Life. Your Way. Own It with Confidence.

At AICS, we take the time to truly understand your goals, your needs, and your unique situation. Our mission is to provide exceptional care that enhances your life, creating meaningful experiences and celebrating positive outcomes every step of the way
